Boom Boom Pow - Black Eyed Peas

Some caveats for watching this video: (1) your computer doesn’t have a problem buffering – that’s how they intended the video to look (2) you are going to see the Black Eyed Peas members’ faces up close for a change, so if you are at all averse to ugliness, you may want to look away (3) they may or may not have stolen T-Pain’s voice computerizer for this track. This HP TouchSmart commercial starts out with a little foreshadowing of how much of a bomb it’s going to be and its deep, meaningful lyrics only further that conclusion. What I can’t understand is why, if you can completely create the music, lyrics, and CGI the characters, why do you even need the Black Eyed Peas to show up at all? I also don’t get why Fergie is yelling at me!? She takes the cake for the best badass rhymes, though, for sure. Will.I.Am comes in close second with “Beats so big, I’m steppin’ on leprechauns.” If this video has done anything well, it’s convinced me to never buy anything from HP again.
