Next, we have “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On it), and we have to be honest, she’s not giving us much to work with here. The whole video is just Beyoncé dancing around with her Kelly and Michelle replacements in front of a white background. It’s not that she’s a bad dancer, it’s just that the video gives off a whole single-lady spinster jazzercise workout video vibe, just with more greased-up-ness and skanky stripper moves. Probably the best line in the song is her plug for her own fashion line, House of Deréon. (classy), followed shortly by some more air-humping and at one point the girls even spank themselves. And don’t be fooled, those two back-up girls may look like they are having a good time, but you can be sure they got slapped around a bit for getting in front of Sasha Fierce’s shot. That’s the only reason we can think of to explain why she has a metal Terminator arm, unless it’s unconventional for the sake of unconventionality. But Queen B would never stoop to that level for her videos, would she? No, of course not.
